There is this button in the amage below it always dispays the current principal balance. This number is gotten by taking the original pricipal balance of the loan and then subtracting any pricipal payments made on the loan, the only time it might be wrong is when a payment is missing (was never enetered by a user) or an incorrect payment was entered (a user put in a pyament or amount that was wrong)
If the amount is wrong you would just need to add in or correct the missing/incorrect payment.
By clicking the principal balance value you will be brought to a page which will show you the origial principal balaqnce and every payment against it.
