You can type a ® by holding down the Alt key while typing 0174 and then releasing the Alt key.
You can type a ™ symbol by holding down the Alt key while typing 0153 and then releasing the Alt key.
Use the Windows key + V and it puts whatever you highlighted onto the clipboard.
You can have several things on the clipboard and that can be a real time saver.
