ARFs are created in the Matrix using a form fillable field. This form includes valuable information needed by human resources and your seniors to make decisions on approving your requests.

  1. Log in to the Matrix here with your account information.
  2. Navigate to the ARF module by click on this icon in the apps menu.
  3. Make sure you have all the data you need and then click on the "create" button.
  4. The required information for each form field is shown below.
    1. Originator: this field will be auto filled using the login information used.
    2. ARF Type, choose one:
      1. General: Used by staff for general inquiries and requests.
      2. Philanthroinvestor: In the Trust Agreements with our Philanthroinvestors, there are some situations regarding actions used in managing the Families in the homes, that require approval from the Philanthroinvestor who is the beneficiary of the Trust of the property involved, before they can be carried out. These require an ARF be sent to the Philanthroinvestor.
      3. Change in Employment: Typically used for changes in pay or position within Equity and Help
    3. Situation: Briefly describes the reason the ARF is being created.
    4. Data: Here is where you supply all the data you have on the subject or to back  up a claim.
    5. Solution: Here is where you make your "ask" that resolves the presented situation.
    6. File Upload: Here you can include any files, such as images or documentation to further provide the appropriate parties with information regarding your ARF.
  5. When the fields have all been appropriately filled in, click the "Forward" button to forward the ARF to your senior for approval. If approved your senior will then Assign for Completion to the responsible party.

    1. The blue underlined "Senior Approval" line should show up only it you are a senior. Here is where a senior will handle, as he sees fit, the request of one of his juniors.
    2. The green underlined  "My ARF History" is what we want. If you choose this, you will see a listing of all the ARF's you have submitted. If you click on one, you will see that ARF in original form and under it a full listing of all the actions that have occurred with that ARF.
    3. The yellow underlined "Assigned To Me" will give a listing of all ARF's from anyone that went through the approval process and ended up being assigned to you to carry out part or all of the handling of the situation.
