Equity and Help is an investment company that deals with real estate. We try and give families an opportunity to own a home even with bad credit. 


We are NOT a real estate investment company. For clarification; we buy homes, sell them to investors with minimal repairs, get AND manage the families living in the homes, then the families make payment on the loan by the investor and fix up their homes and after about 20 years the families own the homes. The investors make money from CASHFLOW, not from the houses appreciating.


It's as if the investors are landlords without having to do nearly as much work, while receiving a steady flow of income. This makes Equity and Help the middle-man, we do the majority of the work for the investors while giving a return of about 8-12 percent back to the investor. 


This also is an illiquid asset which means investors can't "cash-out" which is why this investment type isn't for everyone. It's this way because it's based around cashflow, and not the appreciation of assets, thus making it a more reliable investment since it won't depreciate either.


Think of the investor kind of like a bank and Equity and Help as the bank manager. The investor invests in 3 properties, so that their investment is safe, while Equity and Help can manage all the day-to-day tasks for the investor. This allows the investor to have a lower risk, having them invest in numerous properties, thus not putting all their eggs in one basket.


Example: 

  1. Equity and Help buys a home for $20,000.
  2. Equity and Help makes minimal repairs.
  3. Equity and Help sells to an investor for say $45,000 or about 45% below after repair value.
  4. Equity and Help finds a family to live in and repair the home for 20 years for say $75,000 about after repair value, to then own the home once paid off.
  5. This then gives the investor their money back in 5-6 years while still having steady cashflow. While also giving the opportunity to a family who may not have had the chance to own a home through common means.
  6. While also managing the families we collect, evict, and find new families if need be for the investor.
