Next is changing the Collections graph in the middle.

1. Go on Power BI and go into the overview tab. Now click up where it says the years and delete it. This is so the results are more accurate.

2. Make sure you only have the current year and the year prior selected in the filters.

3. Now click on an empty part of the bar graph to select it, then click on date under filters and change it with however the quarter demands it.

  • Q1 would be April of last year to March of the current year.
  • Q2 would be July of last year to June of the current year.
  • Q3 would be October of last year to September of the current year.
  • Q4 would be January of the current year to December of the current year.

4. Now take a screenshot of the bar graph using the rectangular option (to fine-tune the screenshot to only be the graph) then paste it into adobe illustrator.

5.  With the image selected:

  • Change the opacity to around 60%
  • Then line it up with the collections graph so it looks something like this:

6.

  • Right-click it
  • Select arrange
  • Then send to back.

Once done, you will select the blue bars on the collections graph and match them with the grey ones. Some of them you may also need to adjust downward so be mindful. Also, the numbers are a mix of blue and white so make sure you adjust those as well as not to lose them.

7. Next change the blue months under the bars to correspond with the grey months.

8. Now we're going to make the line correspond correctly with the blue line.

To do this:

  • Click on the grey bar picture to select it and press ctrl+] to bring it forward to look something like this (Make sure the green line is still bold and visible):

9. Now you will use the "Direct Selection Tool" (the white mouse) to take the green bar and adjust it to the blue one as best and accurately as possible.

10. Now you will change the numbers on the blue bars. This can be found back on Power BI. The first month will be the number at the bottom, then the months after will be the accumulation of money up to those points, they will be above the blue bar. You may need to adjust the numbers' position and change the color of them so they stay above the green bar.

(You may need to adjust the numbers' position and change the color of them so they stay above the green bar).

11. One thing to note, you may need to change the side bars as well to align with the numbers:

We won't have to here because 1,689,613 is above 1.5M

12. After that, you can delete the grey image and move on to the last Part.
