Deeds are scanned and sent to us before saving to the Shared Google Drive Central Properties Folder. The deed includes a legal description that needs to be included into the Matrix. Previously a copy of the scanned legal descriptions would have to be typed out since the scanned deed is static (does not contain live text).

We can save a lot if time by using an online converter to make TXT file copy of the PDF file.

  1. Navigate to https://www.pdf2go.com/pdf-to-text
  2. Click on the "Choose File" button if the PDF of the Deed file.
    1. If you are more comfortable using the web version, you can instead click on the Google Drive Button.
  3. After selecting your PDF file, click the green "Start" button.
  4. When the processing is complete, you will be able to click the green "Download" button.
  5. This will download a TXT file that you can open and then read and edit.

What this website has done is tried it's very hardest to discern the text from the static file that you uploaded and then interperet the the letters from that file. It's not always perfect and may read smudges or scan lines from the scanned inage as text, so carefully evaluate the text before copy/pasting into the matrix.
