The treasury printer is posessed.
IT experiences several issues with the treasury printer. Here is a quick list of problems and their solutions.
This list is not final and should be appended when an issue is discovered and solved.
- printer is not connected to computer = Enter settings, and disconnect and reconnect the printer
- In Windows 7, click Start, Devices and Printers. In Vista, click Start, Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Printers.
- Right-click the printer you wish to remove. In Windows 7, click Remove device. In Vista, click Delete.
- Turn off the PC and connect the printer. Power on both the PC and the printer.
- In Windows 7, click Start, Devices and Printers. In Vista, click Start, Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Printers.
- Click Add a printer.
- If the printer is physically connected to the PC, click Add a local printer.
- If your printer is connected wirelessly or over a network, click Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.
- Select the printer you would like to install from the list. Click Next.
- If prompted, click Install driver. Click Next.
- Click Print a test page to confirm a successful installation. Click Finish.
- printer is not discoverable by Windows = Windows may need an update
- Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & security > Windows Update.
- If you want to check for updates manually, select Check for updates.
- Select Advanced options, and then under Choose how updates are installed, select Automatic (recommended).
- Feeder scanner is not working.
- Disconnect the printer from the worksation
- Reconnect the computer to the printed on the networkk from the settings
- in the printer properties make a text print to test connection.
