PURPOSE(the reason why the position exists): 

To fulfil administrative functions specific to the Collection of money within EasyHomes and to assist in the administration of Loans within EasyHomes. Secondarily the Cashier handles the reconciliations of loans for EasyHomes and works with the PI VP to assist in the investor reports.

 

VIEWPOINT (the viewpoint that an employee should have, to be successful at the job): 

You are here to help in the alleviation of administrative work that cannot be carried out by Collections / Evictions. Both areas are primarily involved in directly working with families, or other agencies to carry out their functions. Many times there are a lot of documents that need to be signed, notes that need to be taken, notices to be drafted, paperwork and forms to be submitted, etc., etc. With Collections / Evictions being in a state of working directly with individuals, administrative tasks are often left incomplete. If the phone rings for Collections / Evictions, it must be answered and often admin work is left incomplete due to the rapid nature of the positions. Your purpose is to fill in the gaps and assist in the administration of the loans. The loans module within our software will be your second function. You are responsible for the reconciliation of the loans and ensuring that the information within the loans is correct. 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general PC computer knowledge. Able to create and correct formulas in Microsoft Office, especially Excel documents. Can create and operate Google Docs as well as having experience with Google Drive and Google Sheets. Familiar with Scanning and printing documents. Ability to quickly adapt to our inhouse software. 

 

SKILLS REQUIRED: Must be very detailed and able to spot minute differences within similar lists of numbers, documents, and files that will be compared to one another. Able to quickly and accurately describe events to be logged on the CRM. Able to transfer data from one location to another without sacrificing accuracy. Speed is not that important, but ensuring that Property Addresses, Family Names, Loan Account Numbers, etc. are documented correctly is. High aptitude and ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply them. Ability to create solutions to solve problems. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

Primary Responsibility: 

To fulfil administrative functions specific to the Collection of money within EasyHomes and to assist in the administration of Loans within EasyHomes. 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Filling out Purchase Orders for your area
  • Filing physically and digitally 
  • Assisting in text and email communications

 

WEEKLY ACTIONS: 

  • Calculate percentage of families’ current
    1. Calculate all other substats for collections and evictions
  • Past due notices mailed out
  • Loan auditing

 

DAILY ACTIONS AND QUANTITIES or EXPECTATIONS: 

  • Go through all emails 
  • Morning planning with supervisor
  • Loan auditing
  • Administrative functions

STATISTICS: 

                % of tickets handled. 

VALUABLE FINAL PRODUCT:

VFP: EasyHomes Loans and notes easily accessible and quickly referenced by PISC, Collections, and Evictions without needing to be corrected.
