NAME OF POSITION: Director of Personnel Enhancement (Dir Enhancement) 


PERSON’S SENIOR: VP Quality Control


PURPOSE:  To ensure all employees are correctly hatted and trained first as a general employee, and then for their post as well as any specializations needed. 


VIEWPOINT: 

The company is only as successful as it’s employees are on their posts. This means that our employees need to be excellent at their job and very knowledgeable. They need to be able to correctly and successfully handle anything they encounter on their post based on their hat, training, and policy. They also need to know how the company functions and all the terminals involved so that they work as part of the team and not independently or against the company forward motions and purposes.


SKILLS REQUIRED: Good duplication and understanding of lines, terminals, and flows. Good communication and patience to ensure others learn at their correct pace and can apply what they learn. Can keep track of dates and can complete tasks before they are due. Can handle employees who have blown from their hatting or training and get them winning again and through their educational materials. Is very good at completing cycles of action. Good initiative and control over one’s area so that a senior does not feel the need to bypass.


COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED: Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Publish, and general PC computer knowledge. Able to create and correct templates and documents.  Can operate Google Docs and Google Sheets as well as having experience with Google Drive or One Drive.  Can use Talent Learning Management Systems and can create courses and hat packs in that system. 


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:  

  • To ensure E&H has correct and up to date general employee training materials

  • To assign new employees the standard line-up of courses and explain to them how the hatting is done.

  • Ensure new employees are gotten through any necessary apprenticeship using the TLMS training sheet for apprentices, checking their daily reports, and receiving their weekly points stat sheets.

  • Debugging any stops to an employee’s progress on their standard study and any applicable apprenticeship.

  • To continue to create new courses and policy releases as needed, and getting the current employees assigned those and adding them to the existing line-ups for new hires.

  • Ensure each employee does a minimum of 30 minutes per week study, as called for by policy as per CEO - Directive, “Training Time for Employees”.

  • To ensure that all employees get through their post’s Fast Start and Full Hats.

  • To ensure that employees get any specialized training they may need for their positions. For example, Quickbooks, Financial Planning, Real Estate, etc. 

  • Keep track of all company policy and materials in one organized location and ensure any missing policy or materials are found and cataloged correctly.

  •  Manage the Equity & Help Inc. digital and physical Library and ensure any physical materials used by others are logged out and returned. 


WEEKLY ACTIONS:

  • Create a lineup of the course completions you will get that week

  • Issue each employee an assignment of courses for the week

  • Get at least one new hat added to the Talent LMS & Library

  • Ensure all employees do at least 30 minutes study time per week and keep a schedule to ensure this happens

  • Get employees through the apprenticeship sections in the expected time

  • Track completions as they occur.


DAILY ACTIONS AND QUANTITIES or EXPECTATIONS:  

  • Write a daily Battle Plan (targets for the day)

  •  Handle any pending Chats communication    

  •  Answer all your emails

  • Check and handle anything in your comm basket

  • Get any daily reports from employees on their apprenticeship and review for any need debug actions 

STATISTICS:

  • Employee Course Completion Points: 1 pt for Major Course, 1/2 point for minor course and ¼ point for a release type course as laid out in CEO Directive, “Classification of a Course.”

  • Employee total study time for the week, calculated in increments of ¼ points, one point per hour. Employee Course Completions and total study points are added together and reported as one stat

SUB-STAT

  • Percentage of Employees doing a minimum of 30 minutes study in the week. (Part time Employees have the 30 minutes pro-rated, e.g., if they work ½ a day, they must put in ½ the 30 minutes or 15 minutes per week.


ACTION STATS:

  • # of Courses Created, the number of training and hatting materials you create into courses for employees to study.

EFFECTIVE, WELL-TRAINED AND FULLY FUNCTIONING EMPLOYEES OBTAINING THEIR SUBPRODUCTS AND VFPS.
