NAME OF POSITION: Director of Collections

PERSON’S SENIOR: Div 4 Secretary


PURPOSE (The reason why this position exists): Director of Collections trains, handles, and ensures both the Collections staff and Evictions staff are producing. Secondarily, the Director of Collections is also a malleable staff member who fills in the gaps if there is ever low production.


VIEWPOINT (The viewpoint that an employee should have to be successful at the job): You are solely responsible for the production that comes out of these two areas. You are the director of this area. There is no one to blame for anything that goes wrong in this area, because it is all your responsibility.


COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED: Average WPM of at least 60, Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel), understanding of files, documents, and organizational basics. Understanding of Gsuite (e-Mailing, Google Docs, Google Drive and Calendar).


SKILLS REQUIRED: Good communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Teamworking ability. Organizational and time management are a must. Attention to detail, negotiation, assertiveness, flexibility, tact, discretion and diplomacy.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

● Oversee the Collections Department

    -Oversee the Collections Admin

● Oversee the Evictions Department

● Handle issues within each area as they arise

● Create policy and grow the area

● Develop and establish efficiency and methods that expedite the area

WEEKLY ACTIONS:

● Meet with each member in your area to draft up targets for the week

● Coordinate with Qual regarding new policy and corrections that need to be issued to the area

● # of Items completed on Junior’s Weekly BPs


Valuable Final Product: IPPS that are generating income for the investor on the property.
