- Log in to the Matrix here.
- Navigat to the Leaves module by lcicking on the Leaves Icon
- The view you are presented with is a calendar. To begin creating a new leave, click on the date in which the leave will begin.
- Note: You cannot have two seperate leaves on the same calendar date
- Clciking on the calndar tile, without selecting one of the existing leaves on taht date will open a new Leaves creation page.
- Situation = Enter the reason for the leave. This will also serve as the name of your request
- Leave type = This depends on the reason for the leave and can be sick days, work from home make-up time or even a 12 hour production award
- Duration = ranges from the beggining time of the leave to the ending time. The date can be selected in the pop-uot calendar selection tool, while the tyime can be click into and altered accordingly.
- Data = Enter any pertinent data to help your senior and HR approve your request.
- Solution = Can be left as "Approve this request"
- Covering person should be discussed and approved ahead of time, verbally, and then included here.
- User Guarantee = This assumes responsibility for your absense and is required in order for your leave to be approved.
- Once all fields are propery filled, Click "Save"
- AFTER CLICKING SAVE, ALSO SELECT CONFIRM. THIS ACTIONS SENDS YOUR REQUEST TO BE APPROVED.
