After making your selection by double-clicking or clicking and dragging over the text you want to copy, highlighting it, you can drag and drop it somewhere else to cut and paste it in one move.
Click and then hold to grab the selected data. Then, drag your selection and drop it where you want to paste it.
Your selection is moved as soon as you release the mouse button.
