Archive a note

  1. On your computer, go to https://keep.google.com/.
  2. Hover over the note you want to archive.
  3. In the bottom of the note, click Archive Archive.

Tip: To archive multiple notes at once, hover over and check each note, then click Archive Archive.

Delete a note

  1. On your computer, go to https://keep.google.com/.
  2. Hover over the note you want to delete.
  3. In the bottom of the note, click More More and then Delete note. Deleted notes are also deleted for anyone you've shared them with.

Tip: To delete multiple notes at once, hover over and check each note, then click More More and then Delete notes.

Take notes out of the archive

  1. On your computer, go to https://keep.google.com/.
  2. In the top-left corner, click Menu Menu and then Archive Archive.
  3. Click a note to open it.
  4. Click Unarchive Unarchive.

Recover deleted notes

After deleting a note, you have seven days to recover it.

  1. On your computer, go to https://keep.google.com/.
  2. In the top-left corner, click Menu Menu and then Trash Trash.
  3. Click a note to open it.
  4. To move a note out of the trash, open it and click More More and then Restore.

Empty your trash

You can also empty the trash at any time. This permanently deletes any notes in the trash.

  1. On your computer, go to https://keep.google.com/.
  2. In the top-left corner, click Menu Menu and then Trash Trash.
  3. Click Empty Trash.
