ONBOARDING A PHILANTHROINVESTOR

The Philanthroinvestor Service Consultant (PISC) is responsible for the final step of onboarding a new Philanthroinvestor as part of their first purchase.

The steps to onboard a PI are as follows:

  1. Meet with the PI Consultant (PIC) and get briefed on the new PI’s personal and portfolio data

  1. The PIC schedules the new PI for an in person or video meeting as soon as possible

  1. A live turnover is done by the PIC to the PISC, starting with a full introduction of the PISC to the client by the PIC.

  1. The PIC informs the new client that the PISC will be the one to handle all future requests and questions regarding their portfolio.

  1. The PISC informs the PI about their monthly report.

  1. The PISC reconfirms with the PI the form of monthly disbursement and ensures all paperwork for this is finalized.

  1. The PISC asks the new PI if they have any questions or requests regarding their new portfolio and answers these to the client’s satisfaction.

  1. Set up a call to review the first portfolio of this new PI before ending the call.

  1. After the live turnover the PISC then sends them an email reiterating the above and attaches their PI Status Certificate.

The purpose is for the new PI to get to know their PISC and answer any questions they have. The focus should be on smoothly passing on the torch from PIC to the PISC so that the new PI feels comfortable sending all future communication to the PISC.

The turnover start with PIC talking and ends with the PISC answering all of the client’s questions. Make sure to never end the call until all current questions are solved and it is evident that the PI is comfortable with the PISC.

If there was any good news (like a home being sold to a family) between the onboarding and this turnover meeting, it should be left for the PISC to deliver during this call. Unless the PIC had to use this news as a closing tool to finish the onboarding, it should then be used as a promotional tool so the PI feels that the PISC is already taking actions and providing great service.
