DELIVERING TO EACH INVESTOR


The Equity & Help product promises investors a hassle-free, fulfilling investment with clear results. To achieve this promise, we need to meet certain numbers every month, so that at the end of the year the promise is delivered. For example, if we want to get 10% returns, every month we need to do at least 0.82% so that after a year that 10% mark is reached. Most investors are also concerned with the speed at which their homes are sold; we typically say it takes an average of 6 months. To accomplish this, we need to monitor what happens the first 3 months and decide if we need to take additional action steps.


What has proven to be successful is to coordinate with the Qual department since this department is able to interface with any other department without jumping lines. There are two red flags that lead to seeking Qual’s help: 

1. An investor has originated some concern that requires actions from multiple departments to thoroughly handle.

2. There are indicators on the account that you know will require coordinated action steps to handle even if the investor has not yet communicated any concern.


Start the action by initiating a qual alert, this issue will now be in Qual’s universe. Through coordination, together you can decide what steps should be taken and you will have a partner that will help you get those steps done.


Identifying and resolving these situations should have a high priority because the best way to keep an investor happy is backing up promises with actions and results. If you manage to be proactive and start resolving the problems of the portfolio before the investor notices, they will feel that the trust they placed in E&H was justified when they are alarmed then find that it is already being handled.


On a case by case basis, after closing the claim it is beneficial to communicate to the investor that the claim has been resolved and take the opportunity to keep building rapport with the investor. It is easier to engage in friendly conversation when you start off with good news and keep a merry tone throughout the call.
